The Patterns of Change

By James Clair Lewis
I began studying the I Ching during the Summer of 1968. As I understood what the lines meant, I wrote notes in the margins of my copy of the Wilhelm/Baynes translation. In 1976 I had a Vision of the 64 Hexagrams in a Circle around the Sun. I took more notes, and from this, I derived the Calendar. I completed writing the lines in the early 1980s, and completed the text of the Hexagrams in 2004. Currently, I am working on the second draft, and writing articles explaining what I have found.
